Created during a rash of thunderstorms, this little bird was created by Betsy Youngquist and Scott Long. Thunder’s human components are old glass doll eyes. The structure beneath the beads is an original carving by Scott. The rest of this bird’s surface is covered in glass beads, Swarovski stones, vintage African beads (metal and glass), abalone, mother of pearl, and vintage glass stones using a mosaic process. There is a bit of dinosaur ancestry peeking through the genes in this guy.
