The Flower Summoner is the second piece in the Women of the Woods series. Her face is from an antique porcelain doll part, as are her hands. The body was hand-carved out of high-density urethane foam, and the back of the head shaped with epoxy clay. The Flower Summoner can sit on a wall shelf or any flat space. Her antlers are from a deer. They have rhinestones embedded in them connecting her to the creatures in the woods and the stars above. The techniques for covering this piece include mosaic work and embedding in glue or epoxy clay. Glass beads, antique brass beads and glass stones sparkle on her dress and head. The pieces is this series are very much connected to Nature. They reveal themselves as I work on them. There is a beaded floral wall shelf available with this piece. The price for the shelf is $5000.
